Aaron and I want to take a moment to thank and celebrate YOU, our supporters! 2021 was an interesting year for us all, but at HHD, it was a year of firsts. From the first time we were brave enough to put our hopes and dreams about creating safe housing for women in Detroit down on paper, to coming up with a name for our organization, learning so many new skills as we launched our non-profit, to now having a physical address, there is no other way to describe 2021 except as a year of "beginnings". And now! And now we move into a new year- 2022. We have even bigger hopes and aspirations for things to come for Haven Homes of Detroit. We anticipate and look forward to the day we have a livable space, a house parent, and ultimately, women living and participating in wrap around services at Haven Homes of Detroit. Before I get ahead of myself though, back to the fact that it's Jan 1, 2022, and this post is to thank you all for your encouragement, prayers, and time you've spent helping us this last year. We are so excited to start this next year with you all, and we look forward to all the things in store this next year.
